Dim sum last week brought me to Yangtze in Chinatown, along with an opportunity to check out the progress on the Royal Arch being erected on Somerset St West, just past Bronson Ave.
Traffic has now resumed and sidewalks have been reset with inlaid brick, but the lions and dragons at the base of the columns will be kept crated until construction is complete. Next step: artisans arriving from China to paint the concrete forms.
